Beam Summit 2025: Two Days of Innovation, Community, and Data at St. John’s Terminal

On July 8–9, the Apache Beam community came together in New York City for an unforgettable edition of Beam Summit 2025. This year’s summit was hosted at Google’s St. John’s Terminal, where we welcomed the Apache Beam Community, data engineers, researchers, developers, and open-source advocates from around the world, all gathered to explore what’s next in the world of data processing.

Beam Summit 2024: Riding with Apache Beam at the Google Campus

Did you know that Apache Beam is an open-source, unified model for defining both batch and streaming processing pipeline? The 7th edition of Beam Summit showcased this idea among several use cases regarding the implementation of Apache Beam in different organizations. This 2 day conference at the Google Campus in Sunnyvale, CA helped to grow an amazing community of professionals around the world.

• Online participation is free. Please get a free ticket in order to be able to access the sessions.
• Early bird pricing for in-person passes is $290 USD for 2-day pass and $350 USD for 3-day pass.
• If you would like to attend in person but cannot afford a ticket, please apply for a scholarship.

Beam Summit 2022 CFP is open. We want to hear from you!

The “Call for Papers” for Beam Summit 2022 is open.

We are looking for speakers that can provide technical insights, but also for people that can tell interesting stories on how and where “Apache Beam” is used.

The following session types are suggested (if you have a good reason to deviate from the format please add this to your description):

• Session 25m: Live session of 25 minutes, ideal for a use-case.
• Session 50m: Live session of 50 minutes, ideal for a technical deep dive.
• Workshop (3 hours). Live, half-day, onsite only workshops.
• Lightning talk 10m: Quick talks that are ideal for sharing insight or drawing attention to a specific topic. These may be prerecorded.

While we prefer to have speakers present in person, we can accommodate for speakers who cannot travel or attend in person.

During Beam Summit we will host office hours where several Apache Beam committers will be answering any questions you may have regarding technical aspects of different components of Apache Beam.

Discover what Apache Beam experts have to share and contact with the community. You can have a live conversations and ask anything to the experts, or maybe you simply want to join for playing cards or arcade games.

Beam Summit 2021 has dates and the CFP is open

Beam Summit is returning for 2021 as an online and free event, happening on August 4-6, 2021.
