Join our office hours with Beam committers

We have some awesome news!

During Beam Summit we will host office hours where several Apache Beam committers will be answering any questions you may have regarding technical aspects of different components of Apache Beam.

Discover what Apache Beam experts have to share and contact with the community. You can have a live conversations and ask anything to the experts, or maybe you simply want to join for playing cards or arcade games.

Beam Summit 2021 has dates and the CFP is open

Beam Summit is returning for 2021 as an online and free event, happening on August 4-6, 2021.

The call for papers is now available at https://sessionize.com/beam-digital-summit-2021/

We are looking for speakers that can provide technical insights, but also for people that can tell interesting stories on how and where Apache Beam is used.

Ways to participate and help

As all things Beam, this is a community effort. The door is open for participation:

The deadline for submissions has been extended

The deadline for submissions to speak at Beam Summit has been extended to June 15, 2020.

Take this opportunity to share your knowledge and inspiration with the Apache Beam community.

The following session types are suggested (if you have a good reason to deviate from the format please add this to your description)

• Session 20m: A short session of 20 minutes, ideal for a use-case or technical insight.
• Session 40m: A long session of 40 minutes, ideal for a technical deep dive.
• Workshops of half an hour, 1 or 2 hours on a specific topic.
• Lightning talks of maximum 7 minutes.
